Tramshed – Shoreditch Eats

By October 4, 2016 London No Comments

We tried Tramshed for the first time on Sunday, it’s just off Curtain Road, the restaurant with the Cow and Chicken suspended in a tank of water from the ceiling (see pic). They have recently had a refurb so to ease customers back in they had a 50% off food deal, which I found on nudge.com. The downside to this was the only table we could get was 11:30am, but we didn’t let this stop us from starting with two G&Ts. The food was delicious! We shared a whole chicken, that came whole, feet included. (Apparently small feet in a chicken is a sign that that have been badly treated so they keep them on to show they purchase only nicely treated chickens, our one had whoppers!). Squash and pitta to qstart and cheese cake desert were also top notch. We’ll be going back again!

Toilet situation : 5 stars – cute sinks and hand lotion

Service : 4 stars – super

What went wrong : the restaurant was large and relatively empty, but a small child was seated right on top of us

Special mention : Tramshed Red – the wine
