Ben’s Bestest
Ebenezer Scrooge once said ‘if you need to know the measure of a man, you simply count his friends’. He wasn’t wrong. I am lucky to have a number of people to call close friends, but this troop of Gentlemen are the best – each is different to the other and have each contributed to making me a better person.
So, here is my select group of Best Men and Grooms Men;
Katie’s Ladies
Etiquette says you should have 1 bridesmaid for every 50 guests – OOPS! I’m having 1 fabulous maid of honour, 5 fabulous bridesmaids and 2 very fabulous flower girls, and in truth, I want more! My chosen bridesmaids are family and friends I’ve made at high school and at University. I love them all lots, more than they know and I’m excited to share my special day with them……..provided we can agree on dresses!
So here is my Bridal Party;
The Wedding
The Ceremony
Islington Town Hall
The Town Hall on Upper Street in Islington has
an impressive grand facade and sweeping marble
staircase and provides an elegant setting for our
wedding. It is home to the Chamber Rooms, a
circular room with stained glass windows and a
beautiful domed ceiling both stunning and intimate.
The Reception
Coq d’Argent
During the week the old City of London is
a hub of suits knocking back the vino on each
street corner but come the weekend its a peaceful
and eerily quiet destination. Coq d’Argent is a
hidden, rooftop treasure within the boundaries of
the city and a great place to absorb this special
area of London and it’s stunning city skyline.
The Hotel
The Tower Hotel
Nestled between the River Thames
and St Katharine’s Dock and alongside
Tower Bridge and the Tower of London,
the Tower Hotel is within easy reach of
Islington town Hall and in a perfect location
for exploring London.
